This is a good recipe from my mother-in-law.

Try it!

Apple cake

(1.5 hours 350 deg F)

· 3 cups Flour

· 3 cups sugar

· 1 tsp salt

· 3 tsps Baking powder

· ¾ cup Crisco oil

· ¾ cup orange juce

· 4 eggs

· 3 tsps Vanilla

Place first four ingredient in large mixing bowel. Mix together and

form a well in center, add last four ingredient in center. Blend on low speed then mix on high speed for 5 mins,

Use tube pan.

Apple 3-4 large red delicious apple (slice)

4 tabs sugar

2 tsps cinnamon

pour 1/3 batter in pan

layer with apple slices

then sprinkle 1/3 cinnamon +1/3sugar.

Do this twice more.
